Essential oil production has emerged as a sustainable alternative for T’simanes women within the Pilón Lajas Indigenous Territory and Biosphere Reserve (RB-TCO Pilón Lajas). Emiliana shares her experience working with the extraction of citronella essential oil, a native species of the region.
