Maria, a community member of Tumupasa, intends to set an example of Tacana entrepreneurship by breaking out of the general stigmas of the sector and launching her own chemical-free food business. She seeks to provide work for more people from the Tacana community, demonstrating that, according to her, extracting wood or working in mining are not the only activities one can do.
