Coffee has represented one of the livelihoods that have meant a more sustainable alternative for its producers, which is why for more than 25 years the Apolo Coffee Producers’ Association (APCA) has been working to improve the quality of both coffee and the quality of life of the producers. Edgar, representing APCA, explains the roles of the association, the progress that has been made and the objective of generating an alternative that reduces the vulnerability of the people in the area and at the same time conserves the natural environment with which they have been blessed in the area.
