One of the most endangered species in Madidi is the jaguar, which has been subjected to great pressure from poaching for the illegal trade of its parts such as tusks and skins, which has significantly reduced the population of this feline, also known as the “”tiger”” in the Bolivian Amazon. Marcos, one of the main defenders of the jaguar, explains a little of the trafficking network that is a direct threat to the conservation of the species and, therefore, to the ecological balance in Madidi.
